Canberra to Melbourne

Would you like to join a group of no more than 30 riders in a challenging ride from Canberra to Melbourne? The ride will take place November 23 to 28 and cover a distance of 832kms and 9kms in climbs. The AGF will provide accomodation, food, cycling kit and support vehicles; in return we will ask you to aim to raise $10,000 through sponsorship and donations. As the first stage of my overseas sojourn with the national cycling team comes to a close, it’s time for my second instalment to the friends and supporters of the AGF.

After an epic trip that covered Adelaide, Melbourne, Auckland and an overnight in Los Angeles, I finally arrived at my destination of Philadelphia. I had to lug around two bike bags with my new Bianchi roadie and ‘my’ Bianchi TT bike and three sets of Bouwmeester wheels, plus my new Oakley suitcase and back pack.
