We hope that you enjoyed last year's Amy's Ride. Final details
are in progress for this year's event and we plan to open
registration soon.

On behalf of Bicycle SA this is the first call out for volunteers
to assist with the ride, which commences from the Flinders
Medical Centre, Bedford Park, SA, on Sunday 1 November 2009.

The Southern Expressway is closed especially so that it can be
ridden by the cyclists on their way through to the finish at
McLaren Vale, via Willunga Hill.

We are looking for volunteer support in the following roles:

· Registration at the start locations – Flinders Medical Centre
(100km) and O'Halloran Hill (25km)

· Logistics at the start (Flinders Med Centre) and finish location
(McLaren Vale Visitors Centre)

· Refreshment stations – River Rd, Willunga Recreation Park and
Fingerboard Corner (Kangarilla)

· Traffic marshals – both en route and static

· Ride marshals

· Motorbike riders for route support

· Cloakroom

· Administrative support – office

· Car parking at McLaren Vale

· De-registration at the finish location in McLaren Vale

· Coach transfers at McLaren Vale

As with the 2008 Amy's Ride, there will be a Bicycle SA team
leader/s working with the volunteers.
